III. 48.
Seven hundred prisoners tied harshly |
|
We are not sure about the interpretation we are giving to this quatrain. By the numbers cited, it can be pointing to the Mazar El Sarif Massacre and the role played by Hamid Karzai on the episode. But we must bear in mind that this is also the approximate number of captives in Guantanamo, although we do not believe they could be simply killed. On the other hand, there are also some quatrains that point to a great confusion in Guantanamo. So we will offer the following interpretation but we war the reader that it can be changed in the near future (since we expect that the son's of Bin laden will be arrested and transferred to Guantanamo yet in 2004. The first verse talks about the prisoners in Mazar El Sarif (700) that were dead in the rebellion. The action was conducted by the Afghan General Dostun that was specially harsh in his action. The third verse may be talking about Hamid Karzai, soon nominated the new ruler of Afghanistan, even thou he had not the support of all the forces. But his ethnic group seems to have half of the population of Afghanistan. |

The third verse may be talking about de Hamid Karzai. His presence on the American Congress en DEC-2001 and the economical and political support he received by the America president may be an indication of the meaning of the verse. On the meeting of the tribal leaders, Hamid Karzai announced himself as the virtual leader of Afghanistan, what causes a clash with the other leaders and he had to retreat about his statement.
The fourth verse may be talking about l'onde's wife (if this quatrain is
predicting this situation). |
