The Places l'onde Has Gone Through

Par les deserts de lieu, libre, & farouche,
Viendra errer nepveu du grand Pontife :
Assommé à sept avecques lourde souche,
Par ceux qu'apres occuperont le cyphe.

VI. 82.

Through the deserts of the free and wild place,
The nephew of the great Pontiff will come to wander:
Felled by seven with a heavy club,
By those who afterwards will occupy the Chalice.

      This quatrain has a provisory interpretation.

      The first verse talks about the places where l'onde uses to go through: deserts. They are lands from Saudi Arabia, Yemen (the place where he is from, see C05Q055), Irak, Iran, Paquistan, etc.

     The second verse cites l'onde as the "nephiew of the great pope". If this is a symbolic reference or a concrete fact we don't know. In our forecasts we state that Francis Arinze wil be the next Pope of the Roman Catholic Church.

The third verse is a reference to the seven "kids" that will be transferred to Guantanamo soon (25-JUL-2003), after the death of Saddam Hussein.

The fourth verse is a reference to the upcomming of l'onde and the future Pope or the Roman Catholic Church.

We shall revise this quatrain. We are not sure about the meaning of some verses (particularly, the fourth verse)
