Cinq & quarante degrez ciel bruslera,
Feu approcher de la grand cité neuve,
Instant grand flamme esparse sautera,
Quand on voudra des Normans faire preuve,

VI. 97.

At five and forty degrees the sky will burn,
Fire to approach the great new city:
In an instant a great scattered flame will leap up,
When one will want to make a proof of the Normans

This quatrain refers to the beginning of the 09/11 attacks.

The first verse talks about five and forty, what was erroneously interpreted as forty five degrees. Such inversions are very common on Nostradamus verses (for example, in C06Q074, the time lag between the Communist Revolution until the reunification of Germany, was cited as "three and seventy", to mean seventy three years). Here we have in fact 40.5^o degrees, which is the latitude of New York. The numbers are simple inverted.

The second verse says that the fire wil spred down "in the great new city", or New York.

The third verse describes the WTC being set afire because of the plane clashes.

The fourth verse refers to the reason, according to the intentions what Osama Bin Laden: to prove the Americans, or prove something to them. The term Normans is an anagram of NORth aMericANS.

The number of the quatrain is one more indication:

VI. 97 => 97 ==>07/09 => 09/07 which is date of the attacks according to C10Q072 , with two units less.
