The Proposals of Surrender of the Taleban

There isn't  a detailed interpretation in English language for this presage yet.

Becoup de gens voudront parlementer,
Aux grands Seigneurs qui leur feront la guerre:
On ne voudra en rien les écouter,
Hélas! si Dieu n'envoye paix en terre!

Many people will come to talk
To great lords that will make them war
But they won't be heard
OH! If God doesn't bring peace to Earth!
     
          This is one of the quatrains we are not sure about the interpretation.  It seems to refer to the peace proposals (surrender) of the Taleban while USA was in campaign in Afghanistan. But this is not clear yet and we must consider it as a "possible interpretation".  This quatrain was  published in 1589 by Mesnier, that did not give it's origin, so it's authenticity is dubious.

        We won't go further in this interpretation.
