The first of the third will do
like Nero
This is (in our opinion) one of the most admirable Nostradamus quatrain about Hitler. Let's see why. The first verse establishes an analogy between Hitler and Nero. The analogy is explained on the last part of the fourth verse. Hitler was the first person (Fürher our "Premier") of the Third Reich, so he was "Le tiers premier". The fourth verse explains what he did like Nero. The second verse says that he will have courage to spill the human blood, as he did not only through the war but also in the extermination champs. The third verse explains how he did it. On the third verse it's predicted that he would construct ovens and he really made them. The fourth verse describes the way Hitler came to power. USA have begun to lend money to Germany since 1925. This resources flux created an economic blow in Germany that was called "Small Prosperity" (Siècle d'or). But since the crack of 29, the amount began to fall. In 1933 they were zeroed and the economic blow changed to a large unemployment crisis. So, in 1932, because of the crisis and Hitler's discourse, the NSDAP got an expressive mass of votes that led Hitler to the government. This is what is meant by "Sicle d'or mort". After that, there was a new king (Adolph Hitler). And finally we have historic parallel between Hitler and Nero. Nero set the Roman Senate afire and charged the Christians in border to persecute them. Hitler, thirty days after being on power, set the Reichstags afire and charged the Jews and communist by this feat (in 27-FEB-1933). The Fire on the Reichstag was a trap of the Nazis. First they discovered a man (Van der Lube, a Dutch, possibly mentally disturbed) that was saying to the people in a bar that he had already set afire many government buildings and the next would be the Reichstag. Then, they convinced him to "do the job". However, the SA just used an unknown entrance and put the gas inside the building and let him "strike the match". In fact, the Reichstag Fire began in so many points that it would be impossible for just one man set it. Next, some prisoners (Jews ands communists were) "found" on the outside part of the building. Let's examine the quatrain identification: IX, 17 = 9,17 => 9+17 = 26 The Reichstag Fire was on 26-FEB-1933. So, did something happen on 26-FEB? Let's see an interesting (true) history (see the reference to the book of John Toland below. The text is a retranslation from Portuguese to English, so it is not the original text in English ): ".. An official note informed that the Police had discovered a plan of a communist insurrection. On the night of 26-FEB, Hanussen predicted that such a revolution would be announced with a 'tourbillion of fire', in the literal sense of the expression. In a 'session' where some of the most influent figures of Berlin were present, Hanussem stated that 'he could see smoke and eagle would appear in the middle of the flares ... then a great building in Berlin among the fire'. All this may have caused a great impression on the audience, because many of them knew that on the previous day there were attempts to set afire three government buildings." (Adolph Hitler, by John Toland, Vol. I, pag 352, in the Portuguese version)" Many years after, in 1942, in a commemoration of Hitler's birthday, Goering admitted publicly that "he was the one that really knew the Reichstag because he had set it afire by his own hands". (The raise and fall of the Third Reich, by William Schirer, vol I, Cap. VII) So the whole history was a trap and the Nazis probably were using a quack to simulate a prophecy (as Hitler always spoke about himself; the Nostradamus Prophecies were prohibited during the Nazi occupation of France) fort his false deeds. And soon the laws against the Jews were enacted due the revolt the Germans felt against them(since in their minds they were guilt on the Reichstag Fire). |
