IX. 85. To pass Guienne, Languedoc and the Rhône, The ones from Agen holding Marmande and La Réole: To open through faith the wall, Phocen(Marseille) will hold its throne, Conflict near Saint Poll de Manseole. |

We are not sure about the interpretation we are giving here
to this quatrain. The term "Pol de Manseole" seems to refer to the Pope
John Paul II (an anagram of "Pol de Mensolée"), but the whole quatrain seems
to refer to a conflict, citing many interrelated places like Languedoc, Rhône
(Rosne River) and also Marseille. The last verse cites Saint Pol de Manseole
and this can be a name of a place that will be renamed. If this last verse
refers to the Pope John Paul II, this quatrain may be referring to a conflict
that will hold near the death of the Pope or near his death, but in any way we
don't know how to interpret the whole quatrain. The most probable is that this
quatrain refers to future fact related to the invasion of Europe. |
