X. 98. The bright light to the
virtuous virgin
This quatrain talks about the Communist
revolution (The Virtuous Virgin). The first verse talks about the stamp of the revolution showed on the illustration. Nostradamus calls the revolutions by "vestals" (see for example C04Q095). and the second verse says that it won't stay very much time (for instance, compare to the French or American Revolution) and it will be tasteless. A clear judgment about it. The ideas are complemented on the third and fourth verses. The third verse talks about the them that is developed in some other quatrains. It's about the money Lenin many o of his followers have received from the German Government (the Kaiser). And this is why he says that with the activists there were odious wolves. The wolf is the symbol of Germany. So, the activists (those that received money) were, in fact, ruffians. See, for instance, C06Q049, C05Q026, C06Q061, C08Q092. The fourth verse talks about one of the aspects of the Communist revolution: it intended to be universal. The beginning of the fourth verse is a order phrase (in a sense) that the communists repeated inn their protests. |
