This quatrain refers
to the political scenario in Brazil and cites the facts and the global
political situation during the period MAY..OCT-2003. The first verse talks about the political alliances that were made due the resentment of former Pres. Jose Sarney against the alliance around the President's Party candidate, Jose Serra. The motives of the resentment are the ones cited in P132M02. |

The second verse describes a curious situation.
There were four candidates running for the presidential chair in 2002.
Three of them could clearly be identified with the left: Lula,
Ciro Gomes and Anthony Garotinho (see P115M10).
So reds were on the three parts. By the other hand, the religious from all
tendencies were also engaged on the political campaign: anglicans,
catholics, spiritists and so on. But int hat case was diferent: thr
Catholic church had supportes on the left and on the center/right
(Jose Serra). So that's what the verse says: on three parts reds and
the clergy men divided. The third verse talks about an incident due to candidate Ciro Gomes after a sudden intervention of a black student regarding reserved quotas in the University for black people. This incident also began to signal the fall of Ciro Gomes on the inquires of the public opinion. The fourth verse states about the alliances that were made around Lula for the second turn. Ogmius is Ciro Gomes and "Grand Neptune" is is former Pres. Jose Sarney, also cited on the first verse. So the verse also announces the occurrence of a second turn |
